"SIR! " Do you really mean it?

"SIR! " Do you really mean it?

The word SIR is used by us to address a man of high respect or rank! It was 1st introduced in India by the Britishers. But what does it really mean?

The word 'SiR' was brought up by Britishers and gifted to India so that we reamin as their slaves.
Yes! You guessed it right. The word 'SIR' means 'Slave I Remain'.
Just like every other thing is evolving,we need to evolve in this respect too. Evolving our way of communication is one of the best ways we develop our personality. Once we develop this way, this human capital will lead to the development of a new India., a truly FREE INDIA.
Indian Slavery Act,1843 was enacted by Britishers to abolish slavery in India. But what was slavery for Britishers? Did slavery really end with this act?
According to Britishers, slavery meant the buying and selling of humans to be used as bondsman and be used as a machine. So,in that form , slavery never existed in India.
Indians were used as slaves in a different way by the Brtishers i.e. to serve them with comfort and leisure . Buying and selling remained eliminated. In this way Indians were used as slaves until Independence. Therefore, slavery indirectly still persisted.
Today slavery is absent but the word  remains to be used by us'"Slave I Remain!".
The use of this word till date is an indication towards our non-evolving character. Why do we want to stick to things just because it is a habit or just because it sounds good? Why do we not try to find out the meaning and try to evolve?
We can replace the word SIR with "Hello!Mr.___/ Namaste Mr.___" (just like USA calls "Mr.President") . However, in case of a teacher,  the respect can be best expressed by using the term "GURUJI"!
It is time to evolve our day-to-day vocabulary and expressions. It is time to 'rank with respect'!
